As part of ongoing global collaborations in eduction and research, ECE Florida Professors Y.K. Yoon and David Arnold recently hosted a group of eight graduate students from the Graduate Program for Mechanical Systems Innovation (GMSI) at the University of Tokyo in Japan. The Japanese visitors joined forces with eight graduate students from Interdisciplinary Microsystems Group (IMG) and the NSF Multi-functional Integrated Systems Technology (MIST) Center in a workshop where recent research was presented and discussed.

The presented topics included various sensors, actuators, and systems in nano-/micro satellites, radio frequency systems, optical, acoustic, and biomedical systems.
