ECE PhD Student Selected for Induction Into Graduate Honor Society

ECE PhD student Ayobami Edun, advised by Dr. Joel Harley, has been selected for induction into the Edward A. Bouchet Graduate Honor Society. The letter he received noted that the committee believed that he

“…truly exemplifies the ideals of scholarship, leadership, character, service, and advocacy.”

Ayobami was honored also for his continuing efforts to promote diversity within graduate education and for fostering supportive environments for underrepresented students.

As an inductee, Ayobami will attend the 2022 Yale Conference on Diversity and Graduate Education April 7–8 and will present recent research there. Additionally, he will collaborate with other Bouchet inductees to organize the UF Bouchet Research Symposium, to be held on April 7.
