José Fortes Awarded 2019-20 Teacher/Scholar of the Year
Professor and AT&T Eminent Scholar José A. B. Fortes was recently notified that he is the recipient of the 2019-20 Teacher/Scholar of the Year Award, the highest faculty honor at UF.

Vladimir Rakov Awarded Richard R. Stoddart Award
Professor Vladimir Rakov was recently awarded the Richard R. Stoddart Award for Outstanding Performance at the 2019 IEEE International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, Signal & Power Integrity (EMC & SPI). He was honored for “Outstanding Contributions to the field of lightning research.”

Tabrizian to Receive DARPA Young Faculty Award
Assistant Professor Dr. Roozbeh Tabrizian is set to receive a DARPA Young Faculty Award for 2019 for his proposal, “Ferroelectrically Transduced Ge Nano-Fin Bulk Acoustic Resonators for Chip-Scale Instinctually Adaptive RF Spectral Processing.”
