Príncipe Awarded Prestigious IEEE SPS Award
Distinguished Professor José Príncipe was recently informed that he is the winner of the 2020 IEEE Signal Processing Society’s Claude Shannon-Harry Nyquist Technical Achievement Award “for fundamental contributions to adaptive learning systems.”
Príncipe Receives NSF Grant for Unique Multi-Patient Ventilator Technique
Distinguished Professor José Príncipe was recently awarded an NSF grant in support of development of a low-cost smart multi-patient ventilator system. Working with Príncipe on the technology is ECE alumnus (MS ’88 PhD ’98) Dr. Neil Euliano, president and founder of Convergent Engineering.
